4 Purpose of processing personal data
Personal data in the Marketing Registry is processed to enable and target marketing communication related to the data controller’s business to the appropriate entities.
5 Content of the Registry
The registry mainly contains information about businesses and other entities, including names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of organizational contacts and other contact persons.
6 Regular data sources
Data is mainly collected from public websites of customer organizations and directly from contacts. Information may also be collected through contact forms and similar forms on websites maintained by the data controller, based on the information provided by the form filler. Personal data related to organizations may also be collected from public sources such as the services maintained by the Patent and Registration Office and other similar services.
7 Regular disclosures of data
Data is not regularly disclosed to anyone. The data controller may disclose information to an external communication agency or similar entity with a limited mandate to perform marketing communication on its behalf.
8 Transfer of data outside the EU or EEA
Data is not transferred outside the EU or EEA.
9 Principles of registry protection
A) Manual material: The Marketing Registry is not kept in paper form.
B) Electronically processed data: The electronic register is protected by standard IT security measures, including restricted access, user identification, antivirus software, firewall protection, and other similar protections, as well as physical access prevention to server premises. Care is taken in the processing of the registry. The data controller ensures that stored information, server access rights, and other information critical to the security of personal data are handled confidentially and only by employees whose job description includes such tasks.
10 Right to inspect and correct information
Every individual in the registry has the right to inspect their stored information and request correction of any incorrect data or completion of any incomplete data. If a person wants to check the information stored about them or request corrections, the request must be made in writing, and the requester must prove their identity. The data controller responds to the customer within the time specified in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (usually within one month).
11 Other rights related to the processing of personal data
Individuals in the registry have the right to request the deletion of their personal data from the registry (“right to be forgotten”). Likewise, registered individuals have other rights according to the EU General Data Protection Regulation, such as restricting the processing of personal data in certain situations. Requests should be sent in writing to the data controller. The data controller may, if necessary, request the requester to prove their identity. The data controller responds to the customer within the time specified in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (usually within one month).
Salmi Analytics Survey Privacy Statement
Salmi Analytics surveys are a technical system for implementing information gathering ordered by customers. Response information is used in research and development. Responding to surveys is voluntary. No personal information is stored, disclosed to third parties, or used for marketing purposes.
1 Collection of Device and Application Data
The data collected from the device or application used to respond to the survey includes IP address, manufacturer, screen size, operating system and browser, as well as their version and type. This information is used to investigate possible software-related issues and improve usability. “y” may use the above information to investigate issues, ensuring that response information from the same device is targeted to the same anonymized respondent. Respondent data is anonymized and cannot be linked to the personal information provided by participants in the lottery. Any application information in the browser data is used for classifying response channels. If a survey commissioned by the data controller’s customer is conducted through a third party (e.g., a survey link through a ticket sales company), the terms of the third party apply.
2 Collection and Use of Location Data
Salmi Platform Ltd. does not collect precise location information from the user’s device. Permission to use location information is requested in the survey only in questions related to the respondent’s travel for centering on a map page. Contact information collected for the prize draw of surveys conducted by the data controller is not used for marketing purposes. Personal customer data is stored only for the prize draw until the prize draw takes place.
